There where 74 MinPins entered and only 11 got EXC! The judge seamed to be a bit unsure so he gave VG or G to most of the dogs :-O Only pleasing part was that Veikka's son Sainen Get Out become FIN CH!

FINNISH CHARACTER TEST, Hankasalmi 26.8.2006 Every tested feature is estimated on a six-degree scale from +3 to -3. All features have individual coefficients based on the feature's trainability and on the other hand inheritability. A dog is certified when its total points are at least +75 and it has got positive rank (at least +1) from the following features: Tendency to aggressiveness, Nerves and Accessibility and also + marking from Shooting. Today Veera did surprice us all. I have always known that she is good and very easy dog to live with. This result proved that she was even better than I thought. Veera did also MinPin history today by getting the highest points (+204) that MinPin female has ever got in official test. Veera was tested at age of 3 years and 13 days. Venda's result was quite typical for shepherd dog. I some points we didn't agreed with the critique. Venda was tested at age of 2 years 4 months and 22 days. With that result she is only one CAC away from Fin & Est Ch tittle :-) Oh boy we are soooo proud of our girls! Compact body. Good volume of body. Good angulations. Coat not today in show condition. Good movement. Excellent presentation." It is only three months since Veera gave birth her first litter and that can still see from her coat. Othervice she is back in show condition. Soon we can start to try to finnish her championship.

This was not the day for un-cropped MinPins. I guess it was the first time judge saw MinPins with ears and tail :-) Also Russian show regulations made rings quite hard to follow. I guess we must go back to Russia with better time. This first impression I got was that everything is dirty, big and confusing. To be fully prepared I must start to learn Russian alphabets!
